Although this does make me think of the Mark & Lard track he was mentioned in.

That takes me back. I saw him score 5 goals against Luton in the pouring rain, only for the match to be abandoned with Man City leading 7-0. Luton then won the replayed match the next Wednesday.

He was a fiery little chap was Franny, vaguely remember him having a confrontation with Norman Hunter and both sent off!

Correction: My wife informs me that it was Dennis Law that got all those goals. So much for my memory of that day.
