The first ODI against New Zealand in preparation for the World Cup is underway. Excited to see Harry Brook opening. Love watching him play.

Good steady start so far from young Harold. :D

He has the potential to be a superstar for England in all formats for many years to come - Root, Stokes, Bairstow and Buttler are all well into their 30s now. We need a new generation coming through that want to commit to England and not be lured away by full-time franchise cricket.

Can't wait to see James Rew play for England soon - only 19 and has been scoring runs for fun for Somerset this year. I'm hoping he'll get a chance in the Test team next summer.

This seems all a bit too comfortable for New Zealand.

Have to say that 226 is a pretty decent total considering the horrific start we had. Liam Livingstone was outstanding to drag us through that. He's a terrific white ball player

Only watched the England innings (due to the SA v Scotland rugby) but I'm amazed we won by that margin from where we were!

Well... looks as though Ben Stokes has had quite the afternoon!
