Will you watch the Saudi Pro League?

Do you think it's good for football?

It’s probably not good for European football. It would be a bit selfish of us to condemn it because it takes players from our leagues.

Would so watch it? Maybe. I doubt the quality will be anywhere near our top leagues for some time, so probably not yet,

Fair answer.

Do you hope it succeeds then? Because with the money they have, an argument could be made that they could have a competitive League to watch in ten years or so...

Selfishly, I hope it doesn’t. If it succeeds, it would probably dilute the quality of our leagues.

Does it matter if its good to watch?

I think it's a shambles, but it can't be stopped until FFP really cranks down on it - I hope it's a flash in the pan like China and America ,circa 1980s was - but I can't see it when it's state run.

I fear for longevity and plans - I'd not be surprised to see them buy UEFA or try to buy places in the Champions League in the next 10-15 years.

That’s why I say selfishly. I won’t be able to get to see as many games in Saudi as I will in England. I’d rather we had the best leagues.

I doubt it’s under the auspices of FFPP
