England 3-0 up at HT against China.

Lauren James with a stunning strike, unlucky not to have a second goal too but VAR ruled offside. Would've been 3 superb strikes in 2 games.
England playing some superb stuff here, China aren't up to much but given England haven't been up to the pace yet this tournament, its great to see them pulling together.

China were poor but given the two games leading g up to this I wouldn't have bet against England playing mediocre football themselves, but anything but.

A harsh penalty against Bronze aside, it was as comfortable as it gets. Having watched the Yanks earlier, I don't think England should be fearing them anywhere near like they maybe done in 2019.

Things ive noticed during this tournament:

- lots of unforced handballs from poor touches or bad judge of bounces

- lots of foul throws

- players getting away without bookings for clear bookings. For example the odds for a mens game for 3 or more cards in the match verys beetween 1.12 and 1.20 for the womens world cup the odds are 1.44 to 1.67 for just 2 or more cards with zero or 1 being a common theme despiite multiple bookable offences going unpunished

Recency bias warning:

That might be the most astonishing penalty shootout ive ever seen! It had everything, retaken penalties, back to back misses and 20 penalties in total :shock:
