I watched The Firm today with Gary Oldman, must be late 80’s, not bad at all, I’ve watched the Football Factory, When Saturday Comes, and Green Street as have most people, anything else worth a watch.

Mike Bassett and Escape to Victory are watchable tosh, I would happily sit thru either again and again.

Goal and Goal II.

Bit cheesy and cliche but some mid 00's nostalgia feels right there. Very cheerful and easy watch and very uplifting
Sort of nice thing to watch when you're ill with a leek and potato cuppa soup

The Shouting Men.

Gillingham draw Newcastle in the FA Cup and it’s about a group of their fans going up for the weekend. Very funny.

United is pretty good. It’s largely about the Munich Air Crash and the surrounding seasons of that era of Busby Babes.

David Tennant, Sam Claflin, Dougray Scott… it’s got a great cast too, and while it’s not necessarily an enjoyable watch because of what it’s depicting it’s certainly a film I’ve seen multiple times and watch whenever I see it’s on.

Its worth having a look at the 2009 version of The Firm - https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1313113/?ref_=nv_sr_srsg_5_tt_7_nm_1_q_the%2520firm - not as good as the original by far, but it has its moments

Also whilst I haven't seen it since way back in the 90s I do remember I.D. as being quite fun - https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0113375/?ref_=nv_sr_srsg_1_tt_5_nm_2_q_ID - a handful of undercover police are sent to infiltrate the notorious Shadwell Dogs firm - what could possibly go wrong? The late, great Warren Clarke is wonderful - and just for symmetry, I.D. is directed by Phil Davis who played Yeti against Gary Oldman in the original version of The Firm

Not a movie, but QPR's "5 Year Plan" film was superb.

Watched a film years ago called "The Shouting Men" about some Gillingham fans trying to get to Newcastle for an FA Cup tie... very cheap but charming and relatable.
