I was surprised how tone deaf some of Karl's responses were, he seemed to be answering to Sam and his audience rather than thinking of how his answers appeared to a larger audience. He effectively labelled himself a dinosaur who didn't understand some of the more modern coaching and tactical terms (is it really that hard to keep yourself upto date), he also suggested he hoped his next job was abroad with the rationale they (assuming everywhere else in the world is the same) are more forgiving and it is easier: I am not sure any of that appeals to any football club anywhere.
Now as a podcast it was interesting but as a manager who is hoping to get back into football I think he has shot himself in the foot.

Being lazy and won't listen to the podcast myself - but what did he say about Dele?
