Unbelievable! Only 59 years old, way to young. Only three years older than me, brings it home to you. RIP |

My fondest memory of the big man is seeing him score a hat trick for the Baggies at St. Andrews in 1981 in a 3-3 draw - now that's how centre forwards should play For those of us of a certain age, the game also featured Brendan Batson, Frank Worthington, Archie Gemmill and Colin Todd Happy days |

A mate of mine was a semi-pro Scottish footballer (on Rangers books but never made the first team; played for Motherwell and such-like). He met Frank in his pomp. He reckoned, at that time, Frank was the coolest man on the planet. |
