Always liked the name (Phil) Starbuck. - Forest..More of a Battlestar Galactica reference back in the day..Before the Coffee Giants took over the World..(and they still ain't offering Free re-Phils.(I ain't posting in the right place cos I'm new here

I used to listen, and send in contributions, to the Baker & Kelly shows. They read out a lot of lists of names like that - some that I'd sent up as well. :)

I've always liked translating football players names into English here are some of my favourite Italian names.
Ciro Immobile, Cyrus Property
Giacomo Bonaventura, James good luck
Antonio di Natale, Tony Christmas

And if you fancy a laugh check out the Zimbabwean national teams Wikipedia page. They're Currently captained by Knowledge Musona.

I didn't, but that's a great find. I remember Ralf Minge - and Rod Fanni as well. And, probably my favourite, Frank Awanka. :D

Some weren't actually filthy sounding, but just sounded great / funny. Barend Beltman always made me laugh. So did Martial Robin and Manuel Canabal. :)
