What the hell is going on with the BT commentary first 2 tests were 3 ex Aussie players talking bollocks was so Biased, look we know we are shit we dont have to keep being reminded about it now the 3rd test is abit more balanced but the commentary is in front of live play i think this is coming from channel 7 where the other live feed is coming from Fox....

I think it was because of covid, we couldn't have commentators there so took the local live feed, which obvs is biased.

At least, I think that was the reason.

The bowlers have done well.

Can we get 300 or so to have a chance in the last innings?

Just not good enough.

The problems can be summed up by one simple stat - Joe Root has scored more than 1600 runs in 2021, the next highest run scorer is Rory Burns with about 500. Joe just can't keep getting England out of trouble.

Looking at the players selected, we clearly have a problem with openers, Jos Buttler isn't good enough with bat or wicket keeping gloves in test cricket, our best spinner is the captain who only bowls part time...... the wicket keeping issue is probably the easiest to solve as there are plenty of good wicket keepers in the county game, the other issues are not so easily fixed.

Who is there that is better than what we have, and with the county championship effectively downgraded and pushed to the start and end of the season what chance does any player have to demonstrate how good they are and push for a place in the side?

Some are questioning Joe Root's position as captain. I don't think he's a great captain, but who else is there to take on the job? He and Stokes are probably the only players guaranteed a place in the side

Too much modern day slog and run cricket ruins the ability to get yer head down and concentrate for any length of an innings.
