Next match for Littler is against Andrew Gilding tonight. Win that

He did, and then he beat Matt Campbell.

and he should be up against Barney after Christmas.

He was, and he absolutely smashed him. Littler is now in a very winable quarter-final. The kid just doesn't look fazed by anything.

It'd actually scary how good he is. I may be getting carried away, but I've convinced myself he'll be world champion by Wednesday night.

Unbelievable talent, he’s so confident, even signalling “one more” when Barney won the set, equally happy at hitting treble 19 as he is at treble 20, he could possibly dominate darts for years at this rate

He'll likely play Chris Dobey in the semis, and Dobey is the form player of the tournament so far - he's averaged over 100 in every match he's played.

There's also the fact that these matches get longer and longer, and Luke won't ever have played in matches even close to being this long before. I'd love to see him do it but he's got plenty of work to do! :D

Littler in the semis! Should be a cracker against Cross, as it'll be a test of who can score well and consistently for a long period of time (first to six sets).

I've just seen a tweet that has totted up all Littler's winnings across various tournaments he's played in over the last 12 months. It's almost £190,000. :o And that assumes that he loses tomorrow!

A 16-year-old playing darts is earning more than the Prime Minister.

I don't follow Darts, but that sounds like it's turning into a great story.

You should! If you've got sky sports I'd recommend tuning into the semi-finals from 7:45 tonight. It really is great fun.

I'm too set in my ways, really.
I guess I'm not one of those 'Sports mad" people who can watch anything and get into it. I've tried, but I really have to be genuinely interested / invested in it to gather any kind of real interest - and the only sports that applies to hasn't changed all my life: Football, Cricket, Snooker. I just can't really 'get into' any other sport to anywhere near the same level.

Jesus titty fucking Christ. That wasn't even close in the end. Just consistent high scoring, beating Cross who fell away after a fantastic start.

He’s annihilating everybody in his way, I was convinced tonight would be a step too far for him, how wrong can I be, utterly outstanding again
