To introduce a sombre note, it was 3 years ago to the day that Phil Hughes was hit by the ball which killed him 2 days later.

I wonder if, conciously or inconciously, that has influenced the way wickets are prepared over there (i.e. not as pacy)?

Perhaps unsurprisingly it all went a bit Pete Tong on day 4. Will be a good test of mettle for the rest of the tour.

Another incident with an England player being reported. The last one with Bairstow was nothing, contrived as something by the media.

So far we haven’t been told what Duckett is supposed to have done. Anyone know? I suspect he farted and didn’t say ‘pardon me’ afterwards.

Perhaps it’s a ‘Monty Panesar’ - the Northants lads are good at public pissing, not sure about their farting credentials.
