John Barnes.

Great against the defenders in England, who, like him, all enjoyed a few beers. Playing for England, against very fit, top flight international defenders, he always looked half a stone too heavy and half a second too slow.

Stats are misleading for a lot of things in football. I’ve seen Balotelli live and on tv many times and very rarely been impressed.

I reckon Odegaard, Kluivert and Ampadu will fall into this category.

The ones being talked about at the minute who I do think will make it are that Usak at Dortmund, Mason Greenwood at United, Leon Bailey at Leverkusen, Coric at Roma and of course Foden at Man City

Rooney. I'm not saying he's shit, but he was overrated.

Ampadu is class mate. Even if he doesn’t make it at Chelsea (which there is no shame in not doing so) he will have a solid career elsewhere.

Literally who rated those highly to the point they were “over rated?”

I’ll theow a Dons one into the mix. Lee Nicholls.
