Is Tisdale at either of these two games looking at players?

Doubt it. Probably reading a book about compost in a cruise ship.

Found the last day a bit of a damp squib really. We had the minute where Liverpool thought they'd won it, but in reality City were always going to win comfortably today. Its been a good season.

At the risk of upsetting Bertie, it’s time to resurrect this thread.

Two brilliant teams fighting it out. It’s going to be a great finish to the season.

It doesn't 'upset' me that you're enjoying it. Or posting about it.

It pisses me off when you expect me to enjoy / appreciate the two f***ers winning trophies. I've had almost a decade (and counting) of my team being mocked while the two teams I hate the most win trophies and get eulogised about.

It's a f***ing nightmare that shows no sign of stopping and is only getting worse. I've got to the point where I'm almost numb to it all now. And completely resigned to it. I fully expect us to hammer weaker teams yet somehow fail to win. And fully expect us to get hammered when we play those bastards on their way to yet more trophies. Just a recurring nightmare.

Can you not appreciate the quality of football being played?

You may as well ask a Ukrainian if they can appreciate the quality of the Russian forces bombarding their cities.

Can you not appreciate why you're probably the only person on here that would ask that? ;)

Thanks for those excellent responses. I wasn't going to bother trying to explain it all again. And wouldn't have done it half as well. :)

Fair enough. I’m pretty comfortable that one team doesn’t mean so much to me that it’s more important than the game itself.

I guess it means different things to us all.
