Apparently FIFA want to revamp the Club World Cup and make it a proper summer tournament with 24 clubs. Would take place every 4 years, starting in 2021 (one year after each Euro tournament).

Sounds good to me, always thought we needed a proper club equivalent to the World Cup as the current one just has the winner of each confederation taking part so its usually Real Madrid/Barca vs some random unknown Asian/Australian/African team.

Should change it to the winner of each major league in Europe plus the winners of the major leagues in Brazil/Argentina/Chile/USA/Japan/South Korea/China/Australia.

Would give something to watch in a summer when normally there would be no football.
