Fifa to explore impact of moving domestic matches abroad -
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/ar ... rgr2175x7oHonestly, I am so thankful I support a team in the EFL and didn't end up just supporting one of the top 6. Every single season there is another reason to detest the Premier League, as well as other top leagues across Europe (Especially La Liga).
These guys couldn't hack a replay with Morecambe but are happy enough to jet of to the USA for a regular league game.
I don’t think it’s the Premier League clubs nor UEFA. Bit unfair to have a go at either of them, this is FIFA.
Yeah, I get fed up of people applying different groups complaints to the actions of others and then wrongly accusing them of hypocrisy.
It's the players and players union who are saying there's way too many extra games and travelling being arranged, and calling for a cut back on it all for health and safety reasons. Whereas it's the money men at clubs, and organisations like.FIFA and UEFA, who keep arranging ever more, and extended, tournaments, foreign friendlies, etc.
So there's no hypocrisy, just a continual clash between some who just want to keep adding more and more to the football calendar for financial reasons, and those wanting a reduction of it for health reasons. That's
why you hear one.minute about too many games, and the next about even more being added. Because it's coming from different sections with different priorities, and I don't know why people start crying hypocrisy as if the people complaining about too many matches are now the ones arranging even more. They're not. The ones arranging more and more never complain about too many matches. The more the merrier for them.
